Since more than 30 years ago, it has been my dream to own a camper van. The reason for that was because I have loved fishing since I was small, and I wanted to go on fishing trips all over Japan. So I steadily saved money and it was five years ago that I thought "Well then! I am going to buy a camper van!" and went to a camper van show. I had my eye on a few manufacturers in advance, through my reading of magazines and the like but once I saw actual vehicles, it was obvious that those from Toy-Factory were overwhelmingly better and personalities of staff members were good so I decided to make my purchase from Toy-Factory.

Camper vans from Toy-Factory are wonderful in all aspects including design and safety, but what I like in particular is their "thermal insulation". I had presumed I will be going fishing in colder regions and I have experienced how freezing cold the bottom of the car gets in snow from my skiing days when I was young, so I placed emphasis on cold proofing. Thermal insulation of camper vans from Toy-Factory is actually quite good and I always stay warm.

I also think that the van conversion type (HiAce) camper van was a good selection. There are many narrow roads in Japan and I would imagine it would be difficult to maneuver imported camper vans.

A lot of fun I must say (laugh), I mean I knew it would be fun from long time ago, but I did not realize how much fun I could have with it. In my case, I felt that my outlook of life changed. I can go freely to anywhere I want and I can sleep wherever I want and I feel like I have acquired freedom for myself. I think a lot of limitations are imposed on everyone and I did not realize what fun it is to have this much freedom to act according to my own will. I can go anywhere I want and if there is a good finishing spot, I just fish, this is just the best (laugh).

Yes I do. An appealing aspect about camper vans is that it is easier to travel with my pet dog. It is also quite a fun to increase the number of people we become acquainted with through the dog, wherever we go with our camper van. We do not have to put the dog in a cage when we are on our camper van and the dog can stay free and relaxed and looks comfortable while we are driving. We have made a section to accommodate the dog, so we can all sleep in proximity to each other. It seems like the dog loves traveling with us, so when we are getting ready for a camping trip the dog seems excited and looking forward to another trip. Both my wife and I love the dog, so it is a pleasure for both of us that we can travel comfortably with our dog.

I am slowly but surely accomplishing my dream of fishing all over Japan. My objective recently has become fishing for pond smelt and I am looking forward to go fishing very soon. Thanks to the superior thermal insulation, I foresee no problem. The farthest I traveled to go fishing was Tsushima. We got our camper van on a ferry and went to the island, and it was fun driving in a relaxed mood on the island and fully enjoyed fishing as well. I caught amazingly large amount of fish there! I have also been to Shikoku and Awajishima Island and since I started driving a camper van, the journey itself became fun as well. I look forward to going to some different places for fishing in the future.

If you find a camper van you like, my recommendation is that you commit yourself and just buy it. I understand that a lot of thoughts would go on in your mind about what might happen after you purchased a camper van, but believe me, once you buy it, the fun you have with it is several times what you could imagine. If I was a staff member of Toy-Factory, I would be very serious about recommending customers to buy it (laugh). Honestly, for me, my life changed. My lifestyle changed to one that involves traveling, fishing, my pet dog, camping and the buddies to go with these through the camper van. I believe that a camper van is a good way to make your life filled with joy.

Toy-Factory also offers proper maintenance service after camper vans are sold, and this is my second van, and in both cases, they have been meticulous about the maintenance work they do for me. When I sold the first one, they took it in as a certified used vehicle and so you would have that sort of peace of mind that they will look after you.
